Vantage F1 EDT
The Aston Martin Vantage will remain Formula 1's official safety car. Inspired by the one-of-a-kind Formula 1 safety car, the Vantage F1 Edition has a number of aerodynamic improvements over the standard model. The vehicle can provide 200kg of additional grip at maximum speed by improving high-speed stability with its underbody improvements and huge rear wing. Vantage F1 Edition is available in 3 colors including “Racing Green”; It comes in normal, metallic and satin versions. “Racing Green” is a specially chosen color that was created as a result of different color trials. The Vantage's usual 20-inch wheels have also been enlarged and replaced with new 21-inch Pirelli performance tires. With its new type of performance tires, the F1 Edition performs impressively on rough surfaces.
D&D Motorlu Araçlar A.Ş. has been the distributor since 2015. Nevzat Kaya, Chairman of the Board of Aston Martin Turkey; He stated that the Vantage F1 Edition will be exhibited in the Aston Martin Turkey Yeniköy showroom very soon, and that the vehicle attracted great attention from both customers and car lovers before it even came to the showroom.
When we return to the developments of the F1 Edition, we can see that innovations have been introduced far beyond its appearance. The Vantage's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine makes a total of 535 horsepower, an increase of 25 horsepower. However, the vehicle's torque remains unchanged at more than 685 Nm. Aston Martin has made a few minor changes to the eight-speed automatic transmission, resulting in faster upshifts and more aggressive downshifts when braking.
While the physical suspension changes are limited, the dynamic character of the car has been significantly altered. The rear shock absorbers of the F1 Edition have been renewed, with 10 percent stiffer. With software changes, significantly more torque is delivered to the rear wheels than the regular Vantage.
When we look at the design of the Vantage F1 Edition, the Shark-nosed grille, which is the source of its design, has been extensively reconsidered; The thick frame and grille of the standard design have been replaced with vertical and horizontal wings and a more integrated look.
Coupe and Roadster options are available for the Vantage F1 Edition.
